Why This Issue Matters?
Pacific nations are losing shoreline every year and may become uninhabitable within decades. Many coastal communities in the Pacific region lack funding to build protective barriers or restore natural defenses. Without support and awareness, we are putting entire communities and cultures at risk of displacement.
What do We Do?
Indy Pacifica is a youth-led non-profit organization based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our goal is to empower Pacific Island communities through sustainable nature-based solutions, cultural preservation, and spreading global awareness around the impacts of rising sea levels.
